Our last game of the season was against 7th placed Endeavour United at a very muddy Reema Reserve. This was the teams last hit out before this weekend’s finals with the coach looking at experimenting for the finals.
A 4-3-3 structure was implemented which instantly proved to be a success with Jacob scoring from a well worked move with Jalil doing some good work in the box. Ali’s move into the centre midfield also proved to a success with Salim as those two boys continued to play quality through ball to the strikers’. We went in at half time 3-0 with further goals from Jacob and Jalil.
The second half didn’t prove to be as fruitful as Doveton struggled under the muddy conditions, only 1 goal was scored in the second half by Obiri after the side once again failed to capitalise on its domination.
